Do you want more to do?
Most come to the Smoky mountains to enjoy warm, sunny days and cool
crisp nights. Where you can hike on over 100 trails in the pristine
The
Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Where you can ride horseback through
mountain streams and meadows strewn with wildflowers or travel by car
along the quiet park roads......either way will allow you to view our
incredible wildlife. You will be able to enjoy all kinds of mountain
heritage activities from local entertainers to fly fishing our famous
streams and rivers, to demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts. If
you really want a hands on experience the
Smoky Mountain Field School
offers nature workshops and hiking adventures.
Established in 1937, the Arts & Crafts Community is comprised of the
largest group of independent artisans in the country. With shops,
studios, and galleries located along an 8-mile loop, the
Great Smoky
Arts & Crafts Community is a part of Gatlinburg’s history and
has been designated as a historic pathway on the Tennessee Heritage Arts
& Crafts Trail.
If you are looking for more "civilized" activities.....tennis, golf,
shopping, musical theaters and fantastic restaurants are just the
beginning...
